St Hugo
Nestled in the Barossa overlooking our vineyards; the gum tree lined iconic Jacob’s Creek and the Barossa Ranges, St Hugo offers premium food and wine tourism experiences. Since officially opening in September 2016, St Hugo has cemented its reputation as a ‘must do’ Barossa experience and setting a new benchmark for wine tourism developments. At St Hugo, we invite guests to indulge in the elegant world of one of Australia’s most distinguished wine producers. An exceptional sensory journey with St Hugo wines can be enjoyed in our luxurious wine lounge, private tasting room or as part of the fine dining experience in the intimate St Hugo restaurant. Our premium flagship St Hugo Cabernet Sauvignon was first released in 1983 and has earned over 1,000 wine show awards. Together with our wine, our experiences reflect the rich history of Hugo Gramp and his lifelong connection to the region. Each of our guest experiences is unique, whether it be a casual glass of wine in front of our double-sided open fire, a wine flight on our deck, a celebratory lunch in our intimate restaurant, a casual group lunch in our stoned wall courtyard or a private dinner in our VIP Hugo Gramp Room surrounded by our amazing award winning back vintages. No matter what the occasion we take pride in our home and ensure our guests have the most wonderful experience. For the best seat in the house, we recommend our Chef’s Table; the experience starts with a guided tour and tasting, followed by the full St Hugo 8-course degustation menu. Looking straight into the kitchen, guests not only watch our chefs’ work, they can also interact with them, discuss ingredients and techniques and learn how our menu is created. It’s an amazing encounter, as relaxing as it is exciting.
